Live from the Stillhouse: What a night!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined our sold-out Decade of Distilling Virtual Tasting last night. Five incredible drams, brilliant company, and we’re happy to report that we successfully survived the extreme stillhouse heat!

Sharing the story of our 10-year journey with so many passionate Filey Bay fans made every degree worth it.

The last opportunity to taste our whisky matured in ex-Madeira casks was our Yorkshire Day 2023 Special Release. This cask type is among our rarest and one of the most loved by us all at the distillery. We felt it was absolutely a fitting whisky to celebrate our ten-year anniversary.

Filey Bay 10th Anniversary Special Release. 1/2016 bottles, a nod to the year we filled our first cask.

A marriage of whisky aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Madeira casks from our earliest days through to 2023. Including from Cask 001, filled 14th June 2016.

Tasting Notes: Rich, fruity and spicy with flavours of fruit gums, vanilla slices, stone fruit, biscuit and honey.
