Celebrating 'A Decade of Distilling'
Open Weekend 2026
Join us for our most exciting Distillery Open Weekend to date as we celebrate a ‘Decade of Distilling’. This years event will run across two days, Saturday 1st August (Yorkshire Day!) and Sunday 2nd August. Expect Main Stage Masterclasses, live music, local food producers, Distillery Tours, Filey Bay Yorkshire Day 2026 and some extra special ‘Decade of Distilling’ surprises.
Tickets include entry to the Open Weekend on your desired day, access to everything happening on the main stage, a free distillery tour and nosing glass to take home with you too.
Special Release
Yorkshire Day 2026
Only 1500 bottles released from carefully selected refill sherry hogshead casks, specially bottled for Yorkshire Day 2026. Rare and distinctive, this year's Yorkshire Day Special Release showcases some of our more unusual cask types and uses some of the rarests stocks in our warehouse.

Decade of Distilling
Masterclass
This Masterclass is a central point of our 10 year anniversary celebrations. With only 50 people in each class it will be a detailed and in-depth class exploring and tasting how our distillery has evolved over the past 10 years. All participants will have a named space at the class, with tasting drams, and a 70cl bottle of the very special Filey Bay “Decade of Distilling” 10 Year Old Single Cask. One place per person. If you buy more than one place, we will contact you to confirm names.

the hub
The Marquee
Home to the bar and the stage, the main marquee will be the hub of the day. Full of live music, "conversations with" and possibly a couple of tastings too.
Rolling
Tours
Every thirty minutes, tours will head around the distillery, showcasing the hows, whys and whats of Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery and Filey Bay Whisky. These are free for everyone (though no under 6s we're afraid).
Local
Producers & Craftspeople
Alongside the Masterclass, local producers will be at the distillery, sharing their stories and offering samples, as well as selling produce and products for you to take home.
Food &
Drink
We'll have lunch for sale on-site from the fabulous team at Embers. The Wold Top Brewery van serving a range of beers (including the delicious low alcohol 'Intuition'). The Pot Still Coffee Shop will be open for coffee, tea and cake, and there'll be plenty of whisky to enjoy.
Important to
Note
Dogs: whilst we love dogs, this year we'll be operating a no-dogs policy (other than assistance and support dogs) on the distillery site, both inside and outside.
Children: Children are very welcome to our Open Weekend and we love inspiring the next generation of farmers, distillers and fans! However we regret that under-6s cannot come on the tour inside the still house. This includes babes-in-arms. If you will be bringing under 18s with you, please RSVP for the adults and drop us an email about the children so we'll know who to expect.
