House of Townend, a Yorkshire based wine merchant with impeccable credentials, have been great supporters of Filey Bay Whisky right from the start. A few years ago, they came to us with an idea… a very special release to mark their 120th Anniversary in 2026.

They personally sourced the Gran Reserva cask from Rioja Vega, a winery in Spain that’s over 100 years old. The result is something truly special…

A Single Malt Whisky to celebrate 120 years of House of Townend Wine Merchants. Matured in a specially selected ex-Rioja Vega Gran Reserva cask. A Single Cask bottling of only 285 bottles.

Tasting Notes: Light, soft and fruity with flavours of strawberry jam, summer fruit tart and vanilla ice cream.
