Distillery Sessions 2025 – Andy Stones

We’re extremely excited to welcome the wonderful Andy Stones back to the Pot Still Coffee Shop stage. Writing and playing on and off for over years and always a Distillery Sessions favourite, he’s picked up varied influences along the way from people such as Paul Simon, John Martyn and Clive
Gregson, but his style is very much his own. He’ll be playing a mix of covers and his own songs, and we’re looking forward to singing along on what promises to be a great night.

Tickets cost £15 without food or £25 with a summer platter created by the Pot Still Coffee Shop team. Booking is essential via the booking link or by calling 01723 891758.

The setting

Spirit of Yorkshire co-founders Tom Mellor and David Thompson share a love for live music and designed the Pot Still Coffee Shop to accommodate a live band without overpowering the room

Six Times a year

Join us here at the distillery along with Yorkshire’s finest musicians. From the world-famous Edwina Hayes to new and upcoming acts from North and East Yorkshire, we just really love great music and want to support it.

Out and About

Both here and away, near and far, you’ll find a member of the team pouring whisky or hosting a tasting somewhere most weekends. We love talking about our field to bottle single malt, as well as welcoming people to the distillery here in Hunmanby. See the events page to see where we’ll be in the next couple of months.

FAQs

Can children join the tour?

Everyone over the age of 6 is welcome to join a tour. We cannot allow anyone under the age of 6 into the still house. Therefore they cannot join the tour. This includes babes-in-arms.

What days will you be distilling?

The stills are in action on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. However very occasionally, for technical reasons, there will be times when we are not distilling on those days.

Can I bring my dog into the distillery?

We love our furry four legged friends however as we are a working distillery, we can only allow Assistance Dogs into the distillery building. This includes the distillery shop and the Pot Still Coffee Shop.

How long are the distillery tours

Our Daily Distillery Tours last 60 minutes (at 11, 1 and 3 everyday). The Distillery Deep Dive is 90 minutes. And our Brewery and Distillery Tours take around 3 hours.
